The Ladybug Tools (LBT) Plugin for Grasshopper includes a wide range of building simulation capabilities that support environmental design. It is composed of a few hundred Grasshopper components, which are organized into different insects, each of which is specialized in a particular set of capabilities.

Installation

For Windows, the easiest way to install is by creating a Pollination account and downloading the free Pollination Grasshopper single-click installer. The installer comes complete with the latest version of LBT-Grasshopper along with a compatible version of all required simulation engines.

All regularly-updated sample files for the LBT Grasshopper plugin are included in the LBT-Samples Repository and are also accessible via the LB Samples Grasshopper component.
