In EnergyPlus, number of cup cores for simulation can be specified in the Option panel:
May I ask how to specify this in Honeybee’s Run EnergyPlus component?
Thank you!

Grasshope,
This setting is intended for running many IDF files simultaneously (as many as your CPU allows) and not to break one single simulation in parts.
It can be a nice feature in HB if you have all your IDFs ready for run. But as far as i know it is not implemented yet.
I can maybe give it a try and write this code …

I remember that EnergyPlus 7.2 started to introduce the feature for running a single simulation in parallel which they removed once EnergyPlus came out. I’m not sure if they ever put it back.
For running a group of idf files in parallel check this discussion. You can set the number of CPUs there.
I missed this one
So no need to write anything

Noted with many thanks, Mostapha and Abraham, for the clarification!
