# Designbuilder error when loading a project

Hello,

I have a DesignBuilder file which i created a day before. When I tried to open the same file next day, I was given an error:

**_"Error loading file_  
 _Filename_  
 _This could be caused by trying to read a file created in a more recent version of the software or because the file is corrupt. If you think the file is corrupt you should be able to find incremental backups in the DesignBuilder Data\Backup folder_**

I have bot done anything with the file. My colleague who has the same version od energy+ and designbuilder also could not open the file.

Is there anyone who has an advice or a thought on this problem?
