Error in Run Energy Simulation

I have prepared a file for Energy Simulation for a single room. The last time I used the file it was running the simulation. But now when I opened it again it is showing fatal error.

  1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** IP: IDF line~11 Did not find “ProgramControl” in list of Objects

  2. The simulation has failed because of this fatal error:
    ** Fatal ** IP: Errors occurred on processing IDF file. Preceding condition(s) cause termination.

What can I do to run this simulation again ?

What is the version of EnergyPlus that you’re using? Can you share the idf file?

ProgramControl should be added to the idf file by default as 1. It’s not an input that you can change with the Honeybee interface so I wonder if there has been a change in the newer version of EnergyPlus.

I have installed both EnergyPlus 8.50 and EnergyPlus 8.60. I am uploading the idf file.

Houshang,

You need to update HB & LB and update these components.

Download and install the newer version from Food4Rhino.
