I took a look at your file Sajad, and you’re using an older version of HB/LB and also seem to be accidently(?) adding the HBZones twice to one of the components. I updated your HB/LB components (for future reference you can use the UpdateHoneybee component to do this) and ran the energy simulation using the openstudio component, and it works.

Hi Sajad,

As you probably know this,

In LB & HB components,The “Required” Inputs has only one “_underline” before their names (left side). It is needed to connect all of the _required inputs of components to run. In this attachment, _zonedata (from "Read EP Result component) is not connected, then set boolean to true.

Hey Salad, Omid,

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the script as its working perfectly fine for me (see img).

Some questions:

  • What model units is your Rhino file set to? Should be in meters.

  • Where is the origin cplane in your Rhino file, make sure it is as close as possible to your model

  • Can you make a simple box and see if the energy simulation works on that? That way we can rule out if there is a geometry issue causing this problem.

Give that a shot, and get back to us.

I used a simple box (see img) and my model unit is meter.but I encounter with those errors again.

Could you use with EP Run energy simulation component instead of OS component?

Then, If the problem still persists, make sure the EnergyPlus simulation ran correctly. and please first reinstall LB & HB with the latest version.

I’m guessing here, but i bet that your userCustomEPLibrary.idf or OpenStudioMasterTemplate.idf are faulty. Can you check them? I would move them to another location (not in the LB_HB path), close GH and Rhino and open them again. That should cause to download those files again.

I did your suggestions but it doesn’t work.Its better to reinstall HB and LB again and come back to you.
