Hello wizards. I’m running an energy simulation for a residential project. The goal is to compare the cooling loads that result from three different window products. However I’ve been getting results that are too similar (even the exact same, with very different EP materials) - which seems very counterintuitive.

I’ve been troubleshooting, simplifying the model, but still unable to get to the bottom of this. Someone please take a look.
Thanks!
Hi @Jbarria ,
It will be better to upload a simplified model. For your purposes only one single room will be enough.
In any case, your model is not taking into account the apertures as they are not assigned to it.
You need to add the AddSubface
component, like so (Right mark):
Also, one of the windows can not be assigned (left mark).
Additionally, I suggest to check the conductivity values you are assigning for the glazing layers. You are giving (way) too high values 1.1 to 6. If you see the hint in the input, a typical clear glass has a value of 0.9.

Abraham,
I agree now that a single room would yield fair results. Thanks for the suggestions and for your time!
Cheers
Hello,
I have done the same thing but i keep getting the same results for different window constructions.
Do you anay reconmendation on what could be happening ?
