Honeybee Sky Type - with sun or without sun

Do you guys run daylight simulation with sun or without sun? I am asking since Honeybee provides 5 types of sky including “clear sky with sun” and “clear sky without sun”. LEED v4 option 1 requires to run daylight simulation with clear sky but doesn’t mention if it should be run “with sun”. The honeybee grid based daylight simulation results are very different between them. Please advise.

The Sky with no sun if for particular cases only when one calculates the direct contributions of sunlight separately. Do NOT use it otherwise.

I do not know about LEED v4 options. I’m sure others on the forum can help you with that.

Agreed. LEED EQ Daylight simulations should be done with sun as well. Thanks for your reply.
