I have a question, which I can’t find the answer to:
If I make a model consisting of multiple Honeybee rooms (an apartment block, for example), which takes quite some time to calculate using the ModelToOSM block. Is it possible to select 1 apartment, or 1 room, to calculate while keeping the boundary conditions of the given room?
I want to calculate quite some different scenarios, so speed is important.
Hi @elstudio ,
You can just pass in a single zone from your model to the OSM runner. The only trick is that you need to use the ‘HB Patch Missing Adjacency’ FIRST to reset the boundary conditions:
after that, it is just the normal workflow to run the model with on the single zone:
example.gh (59.4 KB)
best of luck with it,

I have another related question:
When the apartment building to be modeled has an external gallery for circulation. This gallery provides shade to the facade.
This shade element is bigger than 1 zone. How to deal with this when selecting 1 zone from the building? Does it work for the calculation to keep the whole
galley, or does it need to be cut ?
