is it possible to calculate the age of air in indoor thermal comfort simulation ? it’s a important indexes To evaluate the important indexes of natural ventilation. has anyone tried to do this?
There are OpenFOAM tools which does this. I suggest comfortfoam. It does calculate Mean residence time of air (Mean Age of Air) and more:

i found the latest version of comfortfoam which is aim at later version of OF
I was looking for this as well. It seems there is no direct output from OpenFOAM.
But there are a couple posts on cfd-online about this with some post-processing involved:
