I want to create a comfort map for a single box-shaped zone with 1 window, but the simulation is taking ages and my computer eventually runs out of memory (32GB).
I am running it for an analysis period of an entire year with a resolution of 0.5x0.5m.
Is this normal? There are about 700 points in my mesh and 8760 simulation time steps = ca 6M data points which I thought my computer should be able to handle. If I run it for an analysis period of only a week it works.
I’m uploading a simple version of the definition with a course mesh of 5x5m (8 points), which takes about 2min to compute. Thinking about it, if the algorithm is linear it does make sense that it would take a long time to compute for the entire year…but does someone have some insight into whether this is just the nature of comfort maps and I need to pick a smaller time frame/mesh resolution, or is my definition erroneous?
