Hi @h11011101, how did you install the plugins? This might be because of a version discrepancy between the Ladybug Tools library and the OpenStudio SDK.
Can you try to reinstall the plug-in using the Pollination Grasshopper plug-in single click installer?
When I installed the software using pollination, this problem occurred. I tried to use the most primitive method, one by one, but that made using the wallaicei program, there were some breakpoints.
Hi @h11011101 ,
Can you check that the HB Check Versions component shows that you are using OpenStudio 3.7.0?
If so, then it’s possible that you may have found a bug here if you are using a niche energy simulation feature that I didn’t catch during our upgrade to OpenStudio 3.7. If you can share a minimal sample file that recreates the issue, I should be able to explain what is going on and possibly push a fix.
Thank you, my version is OpenStudio 3.7.0. But I used the most primitive method to install the program, this problem does not exist
Hi @chris ,
I have the same issue as described above. The version used is OpenStudio 3.7.0. It was installed through the Pollination single click installer. Hopefully you can find a sollution for this issue.
Kind regards,
Wouter
Hi @chris! I am having the exact same issue. All was working fine prior to updating.
I had mistakenly used LB versioner to try to update to 1.8.0 and that created a whole load of permission errors so I uninstalled everything using the ladybug_tools uninstall.exe then reinstalled using pollination one click installer. Not sure if that contributed to the problems?
I now have 1.8.0 and openstudio 3.7.0 but having the error. Radiance is working fine, just energy issues.
A super simple shoebox that was working previously attached here.

Thanks!!
hi @chris Turns out I had orphaned faces connected to the faces input. Once I used shades instead it was error free! So odd how this never was an issue before the update. Not sure if @Wood_Noot @h11011101 this also fixes your error?
That isn’t the solution for me, unfortunately…
I also checked the quality of the model with the validation tool. The report says that the models are valid.
are there something new solutions for this problem? I also encontered this question, even if I have the openstudio 3.7.0
