Trying to understand base values for incoming solar radiation

I’m new to ladybug. I’m learning to do radiation analysis for a south facing louver on square floor plate of 3 metres by 3 metres… I made some vertical thin blocks.

Though I am able to get the values, how do I determine the base values for interior floor space against which I have to do the comparison?

I took floor plate as my test geometry while block on the left, wall on the right and the roof block as my context geometry.

Are you trying to do a before and after study? In that case you need to run the radiation study twice once with the vertical elements and once without them and then compare the results.

I’m not doing a before and after study. I am doing only one study with louvers and trying to practice their optimization. For that I need some numeric baseline data to compare my results. I couldn’t find such data in ASHRAE standards, neither National Building Code of India. I am looking for standard desirable values like.

Indoor room solar radiation should be 50kwH/m2 for June to August.
