Is there a way that I can have a variable grid size for my surfaces i.e., based on their height? I have different surfaces ranging from small to large and I would like to use a grid size that fits those surfaces separately. Your help will be much appreciated!

It sounds like that can be done easily with some grafting and management of Grasshopper Data Trees.
Hi Chris, I have followed your advice and I believe I am successful in having variable grid sizes based on the height of the surfaces. However, when I try to get the same surfaces back after solar analysis, one surface has 92 meshes and it’s creating a lot of issues with extracting the original surfaces.
Could you please have a look and advise what I can do?

Maybe you want to try this:
Your version was creating 92 copies of each surface.
Now you can get just one, as needed.
