1. Solution exception:’Extrusion’ object has no attribute ‘_faces’

Hi folks, I was working on an daylighting analysis and am getting this error. The error is attached to the “RoomSolid” I am very very new to Grasshopper and Ladybug…and really appreciate any suggestions!

I didnt have issues running this in Rhino 7 but am running into it in Rhino 8. Heres a screenshot of the bit that is angry red.

I used the same test rhino model I used in both rhino 7 and 8.

Hi @hrwilly ,

Yes: that is due to a change McNeel made going from Rhino 7 to Rhino 8. If you pass your input geometry through a ‘Brep’ component first (before you pass it to the Honeybee component) that should fix the issue for you.

You just need to convert the ‘Extrusion’ to a normal ‘Brep’ for the Honeybee tool to work.
