1. Solution exception:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'X'

Hi guys,

Ran into another issue and 99% sure I am missing something very basic.

When I try to run daylight (annual / factor) simulation, I get the error mentioned in the subject. Below is the full readme data:

  1. Annual climate-based analysis
  2. The component is checking ad, as, ar and aa values. This is just to make sure that the results are accurate enough.
  3. Good to go!
  4. Current working directory is set to: c:\ladybug\unnamed\annualSimulation\
  5. Runtime error (MissingMemberException): ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘X’

Edit: Also can you help me understand why the glazing added isn’t internalized in the GH file? Unless I open the model on Rhino, I don’t see the glazing/skylight. Once I load the model with the GH file I can see the glazing.

Edit 2: Ok so i atleast figured out the problem is related to the glazing as mentioned in the first edit. I am also attaching the .3dm file which I used to place the glazing in the right area.

Form the error message my guess is that one of the points in your grid is None.

How do I fix that? I am using the “generate test points” plugin

I am having the same issue, and wondering if you were able to fix the problem.

there was a problem in the way i had modelled the building.

Maybe you can try one of these files? They are not 100% final, i cant seem to find the time to finalize them, but they might be of some help to you
