Analyse UDI(useful daylight illuminance) of an interior space

Dear All,

I am unable to find a source link where i can learn how to simulate UDI of an interior space using Grasshopper. I intend to analyse the UDI (or equivalent) created by skylights in a museum gallery and then wish to optimize its size and shape to maximize natural lighting but not exceed solar heat gains.

I have attached my up-to-date work for your review.

Hi Porus,

There’s a component named “Honeybee_Read Annual Result I.” It can be found “04 | Daylight | Daylight” tab in Honeybee. That should help you analyze useful daylight illuminance in your gallery space.
