Attic Setpoint Warning

Hello folks,

I finished modelling my HVAC systems for my simulation using Ironbug. Everything runs, but I get a warning about my attic not having a SetPoint. This zone is not conditioned, there is no mechanical system to warm up this area. So my question is, can I just ignore this warning? or should I still add a SetPoint to it? If so, what should my SetPoint be?

“COMBLE” is french for Attic.

@AESB99 I was going to tell you to use the HB Apply Setpoint Value component and use extreme numbers to effectively give a setpoint but have it not do anything i.e cooling setpoint 999* But when I went to test it out its giving the same error.

Lol! So it’s probably a problem of Honeybee?

@TrevorFedyna I tried you inputs and it works for me! There is no warning now

This is how I did it:

Awesome! Glad you made it work out!

Have you tried using the HB_Plenum component?

Hi @AbrahamYezioro, I just tried using the “HB Plenum” tool and it gives me the same error I used to have. When do you you suggest I should use this tool?

I would say that the room/zone should be assigned to the Plenum component. Set the conditioned input as False … and that’s it. In theory it should work for your case.
Check the hint of the component.

I did it but it stills give me the error. I guess, I’ll keep using the other solution. But thank you for this tip, I’ll consider it for my next simulation.
