Building load /building energy consumption？？

I have a question to ask whether the corresponding value of heating/cooling in EP result calculated by using EnergyPlus in HB is the heating and cooling load of the building?Does this value match the actual power consumption of air conditioning（ building energy consumption） in the building?

In other words, whether there is some conversion relationship between the building cold /heat load and the actual building air conditioning power consumption???

Loads are the heating/cooling demand you need to support to the space to keep heating/cooling setpoint temperature,while the energy consumption is the energy you need to consum through HVAC system to offer the loads you need.
