How can I change the number of cells in the refinement region to make the simulation take less time?

Hi,@Kiana There are several parameter to control the number of cell in refinement region. The value of level has a big impact for the number of cells. Besides, the size of the refinement region is also important for the number of cells. Please pay more attentions for these two settings.

Thank you, I was not sure if a higher value for level meant higher precision or higher approximation.

@Kiana You need to study some basic knowledge of OpenFOAM. The higher level means higher precision and more cells.

Thank you very much for your help. Yes Iā€™m still very new to Butterfly and have never used OpenFoam before. Need to spend more time on it.
