Has anyone had luck with a setup of two machines for Butterfly?
One dedicated (powerful) linux server with OpenFOAM running and a smooth interface to whichever Butterfly-running computer on the network? This would be ideal for large companies and improve performance greatly.

Yes we’ve tested a setup like this. Works well but still needs some manual tinkering.
There will be a number of changes in the new release that will make this easier and mostly automated:
