Hi all
i have a very curious problem that i failed to solve. ModelToOSM fails with the error written in the topic title, but the circumstances show that the problem is not that simple. I am using educational licence. the symptoms:
The problem occurred first when i tried to run some new ironbug modules (scfp solar collector) and downloaded a sample.gh from this site, now this problem is messing up my main project.
Now the whole grashopper, ladybug, ironbug, and openstudio is re-installed with the help of pollination and the problem is still there. Even reinstalled python.
If i start a new project and put together a simple model, the simulation runs!
please help, i spent a whole day chasing this problem but could not solve it. Tell me what data i need to send, but i cannot upload my main project .gh, only screenshots since it is confidental.
i cannot describe how frustrated i am because of this program group. you get a new error for every single thing you do and there is absolutely no correlation between the error message and what caused it. I managed to solve the previous problem by COMPLETELY reinstalling my computer. It was needed for a time now so i did. all worked fine until few days later i opened another sample file that i found on this forum and installed the absolutely same version of openstudio application that i had on this computer. now my file does not run AGAIN, an the error is “One or more errors occurred. (Failed to run OpenStudio CLI:)” I have three qualifications, two engineer and one programmer and still cannot guess what causes this problem. maybe because i copy-pasted one modul from the sample file? maybe the openstudio install? maybe there is a real problem with my ironbug scema? I am still new to grashopper but this is ridiculous.
yeah, and i forgot to tell that rhino crashes once every 15 minutes. “FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (1816): Not enough quota is available to process this command.” F* me
