Changing the quantity of rays hitting a surface

Hi All, I am extremly new to grasshopper and lady bug however I am doing a reflectivity study for an artwork in this program and need some assistance. A colleague of mine had set up the script for me and just noted the parameters I needed to change to be able to run the study at various times of the year as I needed. However, my colleague is now on leave and I am unable to get the assistance I need.

Essentially, I have too many rays hitting the surfaces that I am testing the reflections of. It would be ideal to only have 1 ray hitting each surface and then bouncing…

Increase the _gridSizeOrPoints to reduce the number of lines generated by the “bounceFromSurface” component.

Thanks for your advice Chris. I had a play around with this but it seems that no matter how large I make the number I still get a lot of points bouncing from the surface when I really just need 1…
