I am working with a group of designers how are responsible for designing a smart neighbourhood. The Neighbourhood design has cluster housing. There are nine clusters and each cluster has 8 houses. Which looks like the following
Can anyone help me with an example or state of the art cluster house design criteria?

@mostpaha: The idea is to make neighbourhood energy neutral. The houses would be connected to indoor lighting control systems. We would like to maximize daylight penetration in the houses. I was looking for co-housing or cluster housing example and wanted to know the challenges faced by designers while designing such neighbourhood.
