@mostpaha: The idea is to make neighbourhood energy neutral. The houses would be connected to indoor lighting control systems. We would like to maximize daylight penetration in the houses. I was looking for co-housing or cluster housing example and wanted to know the challenges faced by designers while designing such neighbourhood.
