Join BIG IDEAS, which is the research and development division of BIG - based in the Copenhagen office.
The position will focus on informing the design process by quantifying the impact of potential architectural scenarios and you will be responsible for providing design teams with the knowledge necessary to make informed design decisions. This role requires someone who can both visually communicate design concepts and offer technical insight into the expected performance of hypothetical design options. This role therefore requires keen interpersonal, interdisciplinary, and interdepartmental communication skills as well as a technical command over fundamentals of building science, climate data-based analysis, and the Rhino/Grasshopper software environment.
Our ideal candidate has a master’s degree in architecture and/or engineering with 0-3 years of professional experience with a strong passion for architectural design incorporating and informed by energy modelling.
