Dear Ladybug community,
I would like to estimate the residual heat generated within typical non-residential buildings such as supermarkets or offices. But I am not sure what is included in the end results of OpenStudio.
For example with a supermarket: I would like to calculate both the heat released from the cooling product processes (Qc) and from space cooling demand (Qv) .
Since both are being “mixed” in ambient air, does this mean that
Situation 1: Honeybee/Open Studio considers in the results “cooling” both (Qc+ Qv) for Ideal Air loads system as it is defined as the sum of latent and sensible heat that must be removed from each room.
OR
Situation 2: Honeybee/Open Studio considers in the results “cooling” only Qv and Qc needs to be deduced from electricity demand of equipment (freezers, fridges present in the supermarket).
Thank you!
