Hi everyone,
my goal is to calculate/simulate the total amount of ground irradiation between shading obstacles in various timframes (hourly, daily, monthly, yearly).
For this task I am using the recipe ‘Annual Irradiance (IRR)’ within LBT 1.5.0.
Now I started testing the HB Radiance Parameters function with the goal to improve my results and wondered about:
- Is the Annual Irradiance Recipe even the best recipe for my purpose?
- If yes, what is the recipe type I should use in the HB Radiance Parameters to obtain the most accurate results for my purpose and why? As I realized that besides the default option (no HB radiance parameter connected to reciepe) both recipe type 0 and 2 are leading to plausible and more or less similar results in terms of mean values, but the homogeneity of the results differ, as you can see in the attached pictures:
Default Radiance Parameters of Recipe (Annual Irradiance IRR):
HB Radiance Parameters (recipe type 0) connected to Recipe* (Annual Irradiance IRR):

Thank you very much in advance for your help girls/guys
