Hello everyone, I was doing a project with a groupmate and she handed me a gh file with ladybug components. I followed all the necessary steps on the Github page and I suspect that the set-path step is not working for me.
I am using a windows desktop, and I noticed, from Github, that there should be a path specified after the congrats line in the command prompt, which I don’t have it. Seems that the process is automated and I have no idea how to interfere with it and was stuck at this stage. re-downloading and re-installing was tried with the same result.
It seems the .bat script wasn’t able to find the path to the settings folder that Rhino is supposed to generate. We’ll be trying hard to avoid this case in Rhino 7 thanks to some new functionality that McNeel added but, in the meantime, this manual workflow will always fix it:
