Hey there guys,
I stumbled upon an issue in Honeybee I’d like to report, related to the use of curved surfaces. It seems that Honeybee has a very hard time converting curved surfaces to a HB Face. Here is the type of operation that I get from a simple arc:
For a single surface it takes 1.5 minute to convert. This becomes a serious issue when selecting a model with many elements, where Rhino will end up eating up all the available RAM of the computer to perform the conversions for these few surfaces, and taking a lot of time in the meantime.
Is there any way to convert them in an easier fashion? If not, wouldn’t it be easy to just not calculate arcs to avoid issues with rhino?
