I have a basic question.
For a vertical duct (passage of utility pipes), can I use an HB plenum? This type does not actually allow air to pass through.
Or should I consider it a separate zone and put the condition input on the false?
or probably, i can not regard it as a internal mass?
Hi @Aliarch, everything I’m reading is saying to model it as a zone. from what I’ve gathered: in EnergyPlus, a vertical shaft with no airflow is just another unconditioned zone with appropriate surfaces Hopefully that’s helpful! best -trevor
