I just wanted to let everyone know that the US Department of Energy has put out a request for information (RFI) that offers anyone a chance to influence the department’s BEM road map, including the development directions of the EnergyPlus / OpenStudio engine under the hood of Honeybee.

Suggestions on EnergyPlus / OpenStudio’s development directions would be great but even a simple explanation of how you use EnergyPlus/OpenStudio/Honeybee in your work is helpful. After all, those features of OpenStudio that are heavily invested in now will likely become new features in Honeybee sooner.
