Different Illuminance Values in Honeybee for the Same Analysis Setup

Why Am I Getting Different Illuminance Values in Honeybee for the Same Analysis Setup?

Hello Everyone,

I am conducting an Annual Daylight Analysis using the Honeybee component to evaluate illuminance values over a full year. When I check the illuminance at a specific point, it provides 8,760 values (one for each hour of the year). However, when I rerun the analysis for the same location without changing the geometry, context, time period, or location, I get different results.

Could you please help me understand what might be causing these variations in the output?

I have the same issue… Have u found a solution?

Hi @vbkahodariya,

How much of a difference do you get? With Radiance some difference is expected. See this:

Try to increase the Radiance parameters and see if the difference between two simulations gets smaller.

Hi @mikkel,

Thank you for your response.

I conducted multiple analyses to check the accuracy of the results, and the value consistently remains within ±40%.
