Does dragonfly consider optical properties of glass while running UHI simulation in the final results?

In dragonfly for UWG model, it takes honeybee construction as an input, but does it really take into account the optical properties of glass from the construction in the final UWG calculation while converting rural EPW to urban?

Hey @VidyaRamesh ,

Everything that goes off to the Urban Weather Generator (UWG) for urban heat island simulation is in the `uwg_json’ file that the DF Run Urban Weather Generator component outputs. If you open that file in a text editor, you will see that thinks like SHGC and the glazing ratio are in that file:

So the answer you your question is “yes” but they are only considered in very simple/abstract terms (like using the same SHGC for all windows in the urban canyon).
