Does the annual daylight recipe include 'light bounce' from walls?

How do we include indirect illumination (bounce from walls) in annual daylight calculations; rather extend annual daylight visualization to include interior illumination using indirect daylight?

Not an advanced user, but interested in this visualization since it will help in conceptualizing design. Not for any compliance like LEED.

Tried a small experiment - added a wall right next to a window to see if there is any light bounce taken into consideration. Doesn’t seem to be.

Thanks in advance!

Reflections are taken into account, the degree to which this happens depends on the detail settings of your simulations.

Check out the radpar component to change this.

I don’t know why nothing much is happening in your calculation.

Apologies for the late response - missed this rapid suggestion. Thank you @LittleBuddha . Will look into your recommendations and post updates!

Hello!

We tried with the radpar component! See the results attached. Thank you!
But, is there a primer to understand what these values mean, etc. Do let me know if there is a link to any reference material.

Thanks!

That’s a quick google away.

Thank you! Will study the link.
