I was simulating a building. So the cooling load values that we get form (HB read room energy result component) is energy consumption or thermal load? Because if its energy consumption then i can directly multiply it with the cost of 1 unit electricity to get total electricity. However if it is thermal load then i cant.
Someone please clarify this.
If you have set up an ideal air loads system, you will indeed have the demand in kWh here, but if you have another system, it will provide you with the electrical consumption value of the system. That’s what I understand from the screenshot you provided.
And in case you want the thermal load, you will need to use ‘HB Read HVAC Sizing.’
this the HVAC system i have used. I hope this does not comes under ideal air load. Does the workflow in screenshot qualify detailed HVAC systemm?
Indeed, with this HVAC system, it should provide you with the electrical consumption results in kWh.
