I am working on a residential energy model and want to specify a gas fired boiler for some of the rooms (baths and kitchen for each apartment). I am not sure where to specify this on the script because I am also defining an HVAC systems (PTAC w electric coil).
Right now, I have all my HB rooms, provide a True false list for the “conditioned” input, then take this output and assign the HVAC system. From there, I continue with defining apertures etc. and solve adjacencies. My question is: since I do not need hot water for all HB rooms, where in the sequence should I be adding the hot water HB SHW System component? Attaching relevant screenshot.
