The DumpGBXML component is working, however I noticed that for my Space Names (image above), it appends some sort of ID string, is this necessary? It makes reading the room names difficult.

This happens because of a limitation in OpenStudio, which is what LBT uses for gbXML translation. Maybe if enough people on this GitHub issue and NREL implements some means of specifying the tag differently from the ID, we’ll be able to transfer the honeybee display_names of the objects to the gbXML instead of being forced to use the ID as we do now.
