Hi guys

Is there any way to calculate the embodied energy in honeybee or lady bug ??

Please do tell me if it is possible for this calculation.

The short answer is “no.” As of now, there’s no officially supported means to do embodied energy calculations with Ladybug Tools.

However, someone made a plugin that (I think) extends honeybee-legacy to compute embodied energy. You can get it on Food4Rhino:

Also, we have made the new LBT-honeybee schema easily extensible so that, at some point, we can add embodied energy functionality in as an officially-supported extension. Given this current setup, we really only need a good database of materials and such an extension would be pretty straightforward to implement.
