EnergySimulation Severe Error

Hi guys, I’m meeting 32 errors when running the RunEnergySimulation component.
Some of the errors are as followed:

  1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** Line: 1436 Index: 2 - Error parsing “FenestrationSurface:Detailed”. Error in following line.
  2. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** ~~~ 0.0073152477853000164;
  3. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** Line: 1437 Index: 22 - “0.0073152477853000164” is not a valid Object Type.
  4. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** Line: 1893 Index: 2 - Error parsing “FenestrationSurface:Detailed”. Error in following line.
  5. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** ~~~ 0.0034142136573791504;
  6. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:

The others are not shown.
I’m don’t know what the errors means, can anyone help me with that?Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your quick reply, the file is attached.

I updated the file and it narrowed the amount of severe errors to 7. All of them related to geometry issues. I suggest you check thoroughly your model and solve those issues.

hi…
i am trying this energy modelling for the past 10 days…“honeybee read ep result” is not giving results.it shows “the result does not exist”.but i dint get any error in previous script…kindly help to solve this problem.

I rebuilt a new model, but still can’t work. Beside closed, what else does the model need? And my model is just the one ChrisMackey used in his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl-9Eyo7bPo .

Have you solved your problem? I met the same error as you did :nauseated_face:

Yes, the problem was because the model I used had something wrong and couldn’t be recognized by the calculator. I changed the model and the problem was fixed.

P.S. the model I used was downloaded from Chris Machey’s tutorial on YouTube, and seems the model no longer fit the new version of the calculator.
