Error on Watch the Sky example file

I’m getting an error when trying to produce the sky visualizations in the “watch the sky” example file. The EmbryoViz component give’s a “1. Path must be a valid location” error. The gif it is trying to reference is 0kb.

It seems the conversion to .gif is failing. I’m struggling to trouble shoot this one.

I’ll update this with a example file in the morning.

These are the files that I’m using, and I’m still having trouble getting this to work. Any ideas?

Hi Will, Which version of Radiance is installed on your system? There was a bug in Radiance for Windows which is fixed now. Try to re-install Radiance from this link: https://github.com/NREL/Radiance/releases/download/4.2.2/radiance-4…

BINGO. Working. I remeber seeing this, but opted to not update in the middle of my project. I forgot about it.

Anybody reading this,

If you are not able to view your GIF file even after installing the radiance version Mostapha recommended, make sure you choose your installation location as "C:\ and not something like “C:\Program Files (x86)”.

Hope this helps,

Thanks.
