Hello!
I am trying to add an external sensor to my simulation. According to the note in the input for the external sensor in shadingGroupSensors it will only work with glare control. I added DSGlareControl recipe to my advancedDynamicSHDRecipie and my window surfaces to the test point generation component.
Is that the right way to set up a simulation with an exterior sensor?
So far I could not make it work to close the blinds from the exterior sensor…

I have not worked for Daysim for ages. The overall approach looks fine except that you probably want to flatten all the input sensors before connecting them to the recipe component.

You might also consider using HoneybeePlus depending on what you are trying to achieve. The sensor control logics are much more explicit than Daysim.
