I wanted to convert the orange building to a DF building typology but the component gave me this error message: " Solution exception:floor_area cannot be smaller than the footprint_area"

I had the same issue. Try creating the typology using the footprints using the “Typology from Footprints” component. Just connect the surface before extrusion and the number of floors instead of connecting the geometry as a Breb. Worked fine with me.
