Hi everyone,
I’m working on a Honeybee/EnergyPlus energy simulation . My goal is to compare several façade systems based on Energy Use Intensity (EUI), heating, and cooling loads.
I’m now trying to model a green wall (vertical greenery system), but I’m not sure what the recommended workflow is in Honeybee.
Should a green wall be modeled as:

an HB Shade with appropriate optical properties,

a custom construction/material,

or is there another recommended approach?
I’m interested in the most accurate and practical method for annual energy simulations, especially for evaluating EUI, heating, and cooling performance.
Any advice, examples, or recommended workflows would be greatly appreciated.
