HB Annual Irradiance running time

Hi all,
I am working on the annual irradiance in honeybee. My geometry has 4 buildings on top of a podium. I identify the external wall of the whole building by using “HB visualize by type” and “HB visualize all”, then connect to the “HB sensor grid”.

The simulation works when I separately running the model with selecting only the podium or the buildings and it takes around 30 mins to run. But it always stop at the step (Started running RestructureDirectResults…) when I selected the whole building (4 buildings+podium) to run.

I tried to run it for overnight but its also not working.

Are there anyways to speed up the simulation? Or is there anything I missed in the script?

Hi Katrina,

I am afraid the information you provided is not enough to understant what the issue might be. How many grid points are you generating? any chance your model is not in meters, or is out of scale?

Even if it is just 4 buildings, if those carry too many details, the simulation can end up taking hours to run.
