I have a little feature request for the HB ConstructionSet:
There’s one possible construction for an exterior roof in the exterior_subset. This construction is assigned to all exterior roofs, as expected.
However, in my experience there is a significant difference between a pitched roof and a flat roof. At least in The Netherlands (and I assume the rest of Western-Europe), often a flat roof is made out of concrete with an insulation and bituminous layer, whereas a pitched roof is most of the time a wooden construction with insulation and roof tiles. A significant difference in terms of thermal mass.
Right now, a HB model with both flat and pitched roofs in it is a little more difficult to set up regarding the different roof constructions than I think it has to be.
Given that there’s already a separation made in HB Room from Solid between walls and roofs, I reckon it wouldn’t be too difficult to add a separation between flat roofs and pitched ones based on the same roof_angle parameter. But I’m curious to your thoughts on this.
