I need natural ventilation control badly, but there are so little options.
I use ‘hb vent control’ to simulate opening windows to change used air without any air systems. During cold months, to not waste much energy, I managed to make a schedule that can use 2 minutes timestep, to use it for few minutes of ventilation every single day.
The problem is, that the ‘vent control’ accepts the small timestep data from ‘fixed interval schedule’ tool, but simply does not work under 10 minutes that is way too long to ventilate in the winter. I currently don’t have time to test out if it only accepts multiple of 10 minutes or everything over 10 minutes, but i would like to ask the developers to fix this issue, since this is the only tool that can be used for manual window opening.
The ‘vent control module’ is acting weird anyway, it really needs a check-up. I can explain if further if there is room for improvement.
I can also share my custom analysis period module if anyone needs it. It creates a period of days and gives the 1 output for certain minutes for every hour listed at “hours” input. also gives standard hoys output but in 2minutes timestep.
