HB Window Construction Shade and HB Daylight Control Schedule

Hi,everyone.
I have recently been using HB Window Construction Shade component to simulate the impact of dynamic louvered external shading on the indoor light environment and energy consumption of a building, according to literature and experience, increasing external shading will reduce cooling energy consumption and have an impact on the indoor artificial lighting energy consumption but the simulation results show that there is almost no impact or even the opposite on both of the above, the questions I would like to ask are:

  1. whether the dynamic external shading tool affects the indoor lighting and thus lighting energy consumption (using HB Daylight Control Schedule component to control the lighting schedule)
  2. Are there any considerations that need to be taken into account when using dynamic exterior shading?
    Thanks for your help!
