Hello again
i currently use the Annual Irradiance Recipe and i want to use different weather files, either from EPW-Data from PVGIS or own measured data which i convert to the WEA-Format.
Everything is running good so far, but i was just wondering what the header in the WEA-File is meaning, especially the lines
- time_zone
- weather_data_file_units
I understand the timezone as time difference to UTC, is that correct? And what influence does the header in general have on the Simulation? Is it used for creating the sunpath and skymatrix?
Also i noticed that when i use the use the to_wea function from the EPW class, that the timezone is always -15 and the coordinates are West-Oriented. Is there a way to fix that?
Any help appreciated.
Greetings,
Yannick
