If I set quad_only to be true, will it make the whole procedure run faster and lighter?
I wouldn’t say so. The quad only option was added to provide equal sized face_areas across the analysis area. This option is useful with geometries where you have say for example a triangular-shaped analysis area.

depending on shape of rooms it can. check your sensor count to compare… On clean rectangular rooms there might be no change, but if you have setbacks, cutout columns etc then it changes. But also the output may be inside/outside your boundary curve.
