Honeybee+ 5 phase daylight simulation: Assertion Error

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to run a 5 phase simulation using Honeybee plus for a perforated shading screen mounted outside a glazing surface in a simple rectangle box geometry. The entire model is made with HB+. I have generated the BSDF file using WINDOW. But when I run the recipe, I get an Assertion Error in the runRadiance component.
My LB is 1.8.0 and HB+ is 0.0.06, downloaded from food4rhino.

Can anyone tell me what the error means and how to fix it?

Below is a screenshot of the error message and a .zip file containing the gh and bsdf file.

Hi @manal,

I understand why you are stuck here because the error message really does not say anything useful.

You have to replace “HoneybeePlus_Honeybee Window Surface” with the “HoneybeePlus_Honeybee Window Group” component. See the image below. I was able to run the recipe just by changing to this component.

Thank yo so much. It worked!
But now when I run it, the heatmap looks off.
I made sure the floor is flipped to the right direction (upwards).

Below is what I got from the runRadiance component. I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.

Hi @manal,

Remove the legend or create a new one with minimum/maximum set to 0/100. You probably copied the legend from some other use case for illuminance, but the values you plugged in here (UDI) have a maximum of 100(%); that’s why all the mesh faces are colored dark blue with your legend.

Thank you! That solved it!
